A to-do list that adds itself when a customer replies
Jot down the jobs behind the jobs, drag the important ones to the top, and let TradeCRM add a to-do when a reply needs action.
Order the materials. Ring the council. Send that invoice. The jobs behind the jobs are what quietly fall off the radar.
Simple on purpose
Jot a job down, tick it off when it's done, and drag items around to put the most important at the top. Finished jobs drop to the bottom, out of your way. That's it.
To-dos from customer replies
Here's the clever bit. When a customer's reply arrives, TradeCRM's AI reads it and decides whether you now have something to do: send a quote, call back, answer a question, change a date. If so, it adds a to-do linked to that lead, like "Send quote to Sarah and call her after 5 tomorrow."
- A thank-you or a simple confirmation adds nothing.
- Each message produces at most one to-do, so retries can't duplicate it.
- An Open lead button takes you straight to the job.
- Prefer to write your own? Owners can switch it off under Settings → Notifications.
In real life
A customer emails “thanks, can you pop round after 5 tomorrow with the quote?” A to-do appears on its own, linked to their lead.
The short version
- A deliberately simple list: add, tick, drag.
- Replies that need action create to-dos automatically.
- Switch the auto to-dos off in Settings if you prefer.
