Send professional quotes by email and let customers accept online
Build a quote in a couple of minutes, email a link to a neat page, and see when it's opened and answered. No printing, no PDFs flying about.
Quoting is where jobs are won, and where plenty get stuck. A scribbled number in a text, a Word document nobody opens, a PDF that needs printing and signing. TradeCRM turns it into something quick and professional.
Build it in a couple of minutes
From any lead, tap New quote (or use the Quotes page). Add what the job includes, the prices, VAT if you charge it, and how long the quote is valid. You can also ask the assistant to put a draft together; it asks for anything it's missing and saves a draft for you to check.
The customer gets a link, not an attachment
Pressing Send emails your customer a link to a clean, professional page. They read it, then accept (by typing their name) or decline. No account, no app, no printing. The email goes through the same pipeline as everything else, so it shows up in the lead's conversation and any reply threads straight back.
See exactly where it's up to
A quote moves through draft → sent → viewed → accepted / declined / expired. You get a notification the first time it's opened, and when it's answered. Opens are recorded from the customer's browser, not by email link-scanners, so you aren't fooled by a bot "opening" it.
- Sending moves the lead to Quoted and sets its value to the quote subtotal (excluding VAT).
- Accepting moves it to Won.
- Customer said yes on the phone? Mark it accepted yourself.
Nothing goes out by accident
Drafts stay drafts. A quote is only emailed when you press Send, and once it's sent it's fixed, so what the customer saw is what you agreed.
In real life
You send Bob a £3,500 boiler quote on Monday. On Tuesday you can see he's opened it twice. He accepts on Friday and you get a notification, and the lead flips to Won.
The short version
- Quotes are emailed as a link to a neat online page.
- Customers accept or decline online with no sign-up.
- You see when a quote is sent, opened and answered.
